They put a plate along her right wrist, where the bone had been crushed, and everything seemed to go well. The amount of nerve endings in that area has made this more painful than her hip surgeries, and the fact that it is her right hand is a frustration for her, but the cast should be off in three weeks and she should be able to unwrap her own Christmas presents.
